Video lounge in the CENTRALE/box

During the exhibition The Causes of Things, video art is in the spotlight in the CENTRALE/box. Four stages have been programmed to reflect the themes developed in the exhibition. The first, around Graham GUSSIN and Michel BLAZY, is dedicated to the studio space and the experimental nature of art. The video by Louise HERVÉ and Chloé MAILLET, programmed for the second stage, replays the history of art through archaeological objects. The third stage is dedicated to the artist's body and performance with the videos of Marie-Ange GUILLEMINOT and Saverio LUCARIELLO. And for the fourth stage, the video by Bruce NAUMAN, questions the role of the artist and asserts the precedence of process over the final product.
